Creativity has always been Roslynn Haq's driving force, with involvement in many types of crafts and sewing. She is self-taught in most of these, including ribbon embroidery. In the early 1970s she moved from the English Midlands to Australia with her husband and daughters. She owned and ran a small craft shop in Port Lincoln on the west coast of South Australia. With a move to Adelaide in the mid 1980s, she soon became involved with craft groups and rediscovered embroidery. She teaches embroidery both in Adelaide and country areas with regular weekly classes and weekend retreats.
