Judy Turner is a well known quilt teacher, giving classes throughout Australia. Her quilts have been exhibited widely in Australia, as well as in Japan, the United States of America and Europe. Judy has developed a technique of making quilts by couching woolen threads onto a background. She has echibited many quilts in this style during the past several years, and her woolen quilt 'Desert Sky' was selected for the 1997 Quilt National. Judy loves to play with colour and enjoys making quilts that use a multitude of fabrics to create beautiful shaded effects.
