Beth Sheard is a young designer living and working in London. She grew up in rural West Yorkshire and was taught to sew by her mum. She was always drawing, painting and making as a child and while still at school she was making her own clothes (with help from her mum!). Unsurprisingly, she went on to study fashion at university in Newcastle and later set up her own business making and selling accessories, homewares and stationery. Two years ago she started wokring part-time in the Kaffe Fassett studio and was inspired to use his fabrics for her first book Stitch It Simple.
