Celia Eddy has been quilting for over twenty years. She writes, teaches, and lectures on quilts, and has undertaken research on the history of patchwork and quilting in both Britain and the United States. She runs Quilt Story, the only UK on-line quilting magazine (www.quilt.co.uk) and has recently retired after four years as Heritage Officer of the Quilters' Guild of the British Isles. In 1998 she launched the British Quilt Study Group, for which she also runs a web site (www.quiltstudy.org.uk), and is a member of The American Quilt Study Group. The author of Quilter's Block Bible, Celia lives in Cumbria, England.
